Our first Youth/Elder Dinner.
Story Warriors In The Community · Telegraph Creek
Youth came together in the kitchen to prepare a meal for Elders, served it with care, and then sat with them to hear their stories.
The gathering put the program’s purpose into practice: youth offering service, Elders sharing their presence and knowledge, and two generations making time for one another.
The next goal is to carry that connection into a year-round program of practical support and companionship.
